What gauge wire to use

Hi I was goin to have a shot at installing my own modchip in my ps2 and I was wondering what gauge wire I should use? I was going to pickup this wire at radioshack http://www.radioshack.ca/estore/Prod...log=RadioShack which is 30 AWG would this be ok to use?
