networking my xbox

Hello all out there..........

I am new to the scene and have been reading your forum for a while and need a bit of help.. I have an x box with a matrix chip with Evox installed as well as a larger hdd and am having problems using FlashFXP to connect to my box. When trying to connect i keep getting a message saying - Connection timed out- or Unable to connect to host...
please help me with the problem and all replies would be gratefully appreciated....
