Can't backup Syphon Filter 3

I can't seem to get my backup copy of Syphon Filter 3 working. At first I thought it was the media I was using so I tried using Verbatims. Now I think that my burner isn't compatiable with CloneCD. I'm using IDE-CD R/RW. I can emulate the game using ePSXe, but I can't run it on my playstation. I know that it should work because the orginal works and it's an NTSC. I do have a modchip installed. Is there a protection on this game? I searched the forums, but people say there isn't any. What gives? Is there a patch that I missed? I know there is a NTSC2PAL, but is there a different another one that I missed? When I start my playstation I go to the cd player/ memory card page and not to the game. Please help!

try using a different program to burn it, cdrwin works good for me
