call of duty
i get no sound after the splash screens. a7a266, xp2100, fx5700u, audigy gamer. ne ideas?

yup
the game stars and runs fine minus the sound. graphics are great. just no sound once i start a game

check the readme file, it's listed what hardware can cuase problems. Your sound card maybe is listed. Or update your soundcard to the l8est, update DirectX to the l8est.
alternativ hit Run in the start meny, and then write dxdiag, and then sound things...and test all the things, maybe lower somethings. sorry for not giving your nice instructions, but my english is terrible out somewhere in the space, so I can't give you nice instructions... but hope you have some computer skills so you know what I'm talking about!

update your sound card drivers:
http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/su.asp and run the autoupdate wizard!

tried
thanx guys, i had already done everything but the auto update but that didn't help either. also i'm using the no cd crack cause i don't have my disks so i can't reinstall. oh well. will try that when i get em back. thanx again
