Is there any free DVD ripping program that isn't as slow as ummm molasis (spelling??)

one more question (sry not all one post). How come when i download a program like DVD shrink it opens up to quicktime? Then comes up with a notice saying quicktime does not support this format. How can i fix this?

Are you sure you mean a ripping program?
Because "ripping" will be as fast as your dvd drive will read the disc, assuming that your harddrive can keep up... Or do you me a converting type of program (since you mentioned DVD shrink)? For a good "ripping" program try dvd decrypter.... Works like a charm.... and is FREE! http://www.dvddecrypter.com/
