AOE2 - the conquerors install question

Hello everyone...

First... Sorry if anything sounds really stupid. lol

* Is there any way I can install "The Conquerors" without having The Age of Kings already installed?
- Perhapse adding a new registry entry or something?
Or does the age of kings have required files I need.

Reason: I Got a new PC "finally"... & Can not find my Age of Empires "The Age Of Kings cd.
My buddies have done lost it! and all I have is the conquerors cd.

- Or maybe theres a way to get it off my old pc? registry/files?
It's gotta be some way... besides buying another copy of the age of kings. lol.
I knew I shouldn't have loaned that out... but hey,I didn't need it then... I would just use the conquerors cd to play.
