Xbox bootcd
Hi
I've got probs with my modded Xbox! The password for the FTP logon seems to be corrupt in the evox.ini. I get a 540 answer (wrong Password) it's not xbox:xbox any suggestions how to tackle this one. I don't have any booting software , and the telnet commands which do work won't do the the job. So does anybody know how to fix this problem? thx Hil , Amsterdam, Holland

first of all use flashfxp for ur ftp program
second of all, check the evox.ini for the right login/password third off all, make sure its set to static ip then write the address make sure ur comp is set to static ip (a different one from the xbox) then try connecting

Thx, for the quick reply!
That's the problem ! I don't have a bootCD supplied when i had my Xbox modded. I do use FlashFXP , and a static IP .. The connection to the Xbox using Flash is good, except the password is incorrect using FTP. And I don't have a BootCD.. I think i better ask for it  Or is this easy to burn and down from the internet? thx for the help so far.

I forgot to ask is there another way to access the evox.ini
to look up the right uid/passwd? grtz

u gotta open evox.ini through notepad to change all the stuff
MAKE SURE UR XBOX IS SET TO STATIC IP and make sure you try to connect to that IP that differs from your comps static IP (if crossover cable) u can also see login/pswrd through there
