I tried everything to make a bootable DVD of a backup, but nothing worked. But I know, that it is possible! I put the data from my xbox to the pc via ftp connection, but I can't burn the data to a dvd. When I burn the data to the dvd the xbox can't read the disc.
I tried all tutorials (there are a lot at www.xbox-scene.com), but nothing worked. So please: If you are succesful in making a working backup, then please let me know!

Good luck!

No, some games cannot fit on a dvd, so you have to rip it. Very few are like this though. As for every game that is under 4.3gb, yes, you can make an exact copy.

They cannot work on xbox live. You need a modchip/softmod to boot a backup, which will get your xbox banned if you go online. (so you might be able to play a backup online for around 4 hours, but then u can never play online again).
