well come to find out now minds screwing up i was playing freedom fighters and paused the game for about 15-20 mins then left the room when i came back the system was in stand by mode and red light flashing off and on and when i hit reset or eject nothing happen so i turned the power off then back on and it worked again i have not tested it by playing the game but will and if it happens again i will send it back to netmech it sounds like to me eather A the chip is over heating B a bad install or C a bad chip or could be D the unit but usely when these mess up the system dies.

Look at the back and see if your fan is running. He might have forgot to hook it back up.

Fairly common for the the fan to be forgot about. Be careful.

Hey EvoEvo, just an ole trick of the trade, if the iron tip is too big.
I believe you can take it to a grinder and tone it down a bit then get it hot again and dip it in melted solder, and shake off the excess. thus giving you a finer tip to work with. should make it easier for persicion jobs in the future. (if you didnt already know this) Hope your v9 is Ok man. Let us know... Happy Holidays dude

Radio Shack's 15 watt soldering iron will do the trick.
