Compressing Images on Hard Drive
Hi All,
I was wondering if it ok to compress a DVD image once it has been created on my hard drive. I f so what is the best way to do it and is there any loss in the quality of the image. Thanks and merry Xmas to all |

Yes it is ok. You will loose quaility but in most cases you wont be able to tell.
I would recommend DVD2one, CloneDVD, or DVDShrink. All of these will work well for you. Tyler!

Thanks Tyler for quick reply,
I am using Elaboratebytes Clonedvd at the moment to create images. These are usually around 4 to 4.5gb in size but need to half this size at least for storage is this possible. Does this or the other software mentioned allow me to compress them even further purely to save storage space. I was thinking along the lines of Winrar or winzip that type of thing. |

DVD2one allows you to type in your own estimated size. I should let you know the more you compress the lower your quality will get.
Tyler!
