BIG PAPA
!!!!STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO COPY DC-BACK-UPS!!!!!!

!!!!!STEP BY STEP RULES FOR DC BACK UPS!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS TAKE THE TIME TO POST A REPLY, THAT WAY THIS MESSAGE WILL STAY UP LONGER FOR MORE PEOPLE TO SEE.

KEEP IN MIND THAT I DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE TIME TO HELP YOU GUYS, I HAVE ALL THE DC GAMES RELEASED, SO IF YOU WOULD PLEASE TAKE A LITTLE OF YOUR TIME AND POST A REPLY, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.

BPC

LETS GET STARTED....

DOWN LOADING..........

most of you asking questions are trying to download games, and are not having too much luck, these are the steps you should take to increase your chances of downloading a game.

1. you need to know how many rar files are in the game you want. (this is very important, if you are missing just one file or if one file is bad..the whole thing will be bad) goto www.isonews.com and look up the game it will tell you how many files there are to the game you want.
EX: Shenmue Passport Kalisto [xx/25]
^
^
this is the number you are looking for, so if you are downloading shenmue passport and you only have 20 files....guess what, it wont work...duh!
(most times however, when you see this number you can subtract 2 from it, because 2 of the files are not needed for the game"nfo", "sfv")

read part 2...................

I'm new to all this so I am a little confused about whether I can copy an original disc or if it has to be a UTOPIA release

my suggestions

with DJ2.0

these boxes should be checked

ignore read errors
raw read/ write

if DJ is set for write and verify, disable verify, and only "Write"

i also turned off burnproof.

the only game that gave me problems was plasma sword.

i am using a yamaha 8424ez IDE drive.

with these settings, when you get the illegal field error, it continues to read. without these settings DJ quits once you hit the illegal field.

you're right nemisis he is confused....im sure all he hears is "you can copy dc games", but doesn't know the process...
the guy only has 2 posts up which means he just came on board, and it also means he is going to ask the same questions that everyone else asked when they first came in....even YOU....
and guess what nemisis.....tomorrow someone else will join...and ask the same question again, and i bet you'll be right there to make them feel welcome...

i might not have over 100 posts like you, but at least im trying to make a difference, maybe if i wasn't the only one, this place wouldn't be "where to ask questions", but "where to get the answer"....

Big Papa & Nemesis,

Thanks for all the help you two have both put on this forum. I havent posted a thing yet - just been watching for about three weeks. After so many coasters I have managed to copy a copy, and am so pleased. Now I am at the "copying a self booter" stage. Gutted coz Djuggler wont work with my Creative (pants) reader. So I am getting PSXcopy but a version of this I got just hung all the time.

I totally agree with you guys that people should look for the info before asking for it. I havent asked for a thing and have found everything I need. All these "How do I copy Utopia disc" posts just fill the forum with waste. And why oh why do people still post "where do I get iso's" ? Its nuts.

Enuff of the Rant, and cheers for all your help. Respect !

psx copy will only work for some people, it is not a solution for the masses, just a couple, aside from that it will only copy a copy, not burn a cdi file...please make sure you know that...
