DVD X Rescue usefulness
I can't really figure out how exactly rescue works and recovers your dvd. e.g. i have a bad final fantasy X copy, it crashes after a certain video after about 15 mimutes of play, can it be fixed with rescue? is there somewhere a "rescue" tutorial?

Are you talking backup or original?
Is it scratched or something else? Tyler!

it's a copy. I saw in the readability test, complete scan, that it is registered as a "bad" disk with 2,88% of soft errors. I also tried to read another game i knew it had problems, "sub rebellion", that's a cd. that one crashes upon the videos at the start. that one couldn't be read in the readability test at all. also a backup.

Why dont you use your original to back it up? I mean that should have been your first option.
Tyler!
