dirty disk error on hard drive

this is the first i have seen this, i got a dirty disk error while playing return of the king on my hard drive. i checked my o.g game and it is flawless so how could i get this error while playing it off the hard drive. this is weird!

so far ive moddded xboxes with:
2 Matrixes
3 Xbits

My xbox!:
-250 gig
-XBIT
-4981.06 x2
-orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen
-Component cable

my problem...solved?!:
-one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. WHERE THE HELL IS HE?! :mad:

i'm not playing of the dvd drive (samsung drive), i put the game on my hard drive and while playing it of the hdd it gave me the dirty disk error....weird isn't it?

i had the same type of error with halo from the hd most likley the copy on the hd is corrupted copy it over again. i use a app called dvd2xbox to copy xbox games from the dvd directley to my games folder on the xbox drive e. this method has never failed me yet.

yah, boxplorer is good, but it seems to have problems on newer games. I recommend dvd2xbox as well.
