LOTR The Return of the King

I tried backing up my copy of the game, used recordnow max, and verbatim discs, and i am getting really choppy loading and and sound. anyone else have this problem? i am going to try to reburn with nero.

the problem couldnt be with my p.o.s. no solder mod could it? correct me if i am wrong, but i thought the sole purpose for the mods are to load the backups.

so you're mod is working as its booting the game, though not quite as expected - this sounds like the behaviour of a bad burn or a dodgy dvdr, try a reburn, and yes try using Nero or re-read the image into RNM (could be a bad image file), how badly fragmented is your drive? might be worth checking that out too.

could also be a dirty laser, is the problem happening with any other of your backups? if so it might be worth giving the laser a clean....

No-Solder Mod Chip

I have read on some websites that the No-Solder Modchips have alot of trouble with choppyness and slow loading times. I would highly recommend that you replace it with a Messiah 2, Magic V, or DMS3.
