Playing dvd backups
I have a v5 30003 R ps2 with a neo chip not sure which one. I use dvd region x to play my backup cdr games by using the swap method. Just wandering is there anyway to play dvd backup games on my system.

V5 consoles with a neo2.2 does not support the EA swap method, you will need to upgrade to a better chip to play dvd-r.The EA swap method consists of pressing and holding reset for 10 sec, then release, tray should eject but this only works for v4 or earlier consoles with neo 2 or 2.2 chips.

got a friend with a better chip than yours? try it there...
or do a TOC check by comparing the total size of your backup dvd-r to the TOC of the original. anyway, you can delete the iso off your harddrive since you already own the original
