I'm definately in a bind here...

and am asking for a little help on this one.

But to begin with...been lurking around in here for a bit and find this forum to be the top of the hill as far as finding useful information. Great job Adminz and Modz...Thnx.

My problem, to you people, has probably a very simple solution, so here goes.

Got a Sony DRU-510A DVD Re-Writer and use, most of the time Nero 6.0.

After experimenting for a few day's burning DVD +/- R's, I decided yesterday to go out and purchase two DVD-RW's (one each "+" and one each "-"). When I open Nero and am ready to burn, I notice that in the "Burn" tab the option "Write" is checked by default and the option "Finalize DVD (No Further Writing Possible)" is checked and "greyed out" not allowing me to uncheck it. That naturally defeats my purpose of using a DVD RW disk.

I have gone into preference's on many occassion's trying to find a way that will unlock this option for me allowing me to burn a multi-session DVD RW but to no avail.

Is this a quirk of Nero 6.0, or does anyone know the solution to this?

All help on this is most appreciated and

TIA

Greeeeetz

No you can't burn a multi-session DVD RW, you can just burn, erase, burn, erase.

Actually ghost,

I think it is possible now. With the program that comes with Sonic RecordNow DX called DLA. DLA supposedly lets you do more with RW dvds. I think multi-session a dvdrw is one of the perks.

Let us know if it works out for you. I remember reading about it but I dont use DVDRW's much so I havent tested or installed that part of the program.
