Help w / securom protection, in patch

Recently papyrus added a patch to the nascar 2003 game. With patch installed securom software gives my pc blue screen FFE. Papy tech support is useless is their anything i can do to remove this from the patch> Papy has confirmed it is the addition of the securom software to the patch that is giving people the ffe and blue screen. Any help would be appreicated
