Is there anyway to play back-ups of games off my computer hdd via the LAN? Thanks -How. |

unfortunately, no. And if ther is one ever made, it would copy the game to your xbox hdd, then remove it when u are done. This is very unlikely to ever be made.

Its really a great idea all and all.
But I think Quall is right, it would have to copy over to your XBox HDD than do what ever when your done playing it. I'm sure some software could be written so this can be done, but I don't think normal 10/100mbps can handel it. If every one was using gigabit networks than maybe the speeds would be there.

I don't see why anyone would bother making a program for that because why would you want to use a computer to store Xbox games when you could just use a bigger drive on the Xbox itself.
