need help on nero settings...

hey. I double-click my image (NRG, converted from CDI with cdi2nero) and it brings me to the burn window.

action:
determine maximum speed (do I need to check this?)
simulation (do I need to check this?)
Write (I obviously need to check this, right?)

write speed:
(I use 8x which seems OK)

write method:
which one to use? (I tried "track-at-once" but it doesn't work...)
track-at-once
disk-at-once
disk-at-once/96

#of copies: 1 of course

justlink (need I check this box?)

use multiple recorders (need I check this?)
-------------

nero suggests I use "disk-at-once" so...

I used track-at-once, and put the CD in my DC, didn't work (black screen came up, than went to the play music, check memory card, etc. default screen thingie.

also I am using those colored CDs (purple, red, whatever color on bottem instead of silver of whatever normal color).

so can you guys help?

1. Leave "determine max speed" unchecked. You should set the write speed for whatever your blank cd's are rated at. However, if you are burning a multi-session image, I always burn at 8x just to be safe. The same goes for .cdi images as well.

2. You don't want to check off "simulation", as it is only a test run so nothing will actually be burned to cd.

3. Select "disc at once", not the 96 setting.

4. "Justlink" and "multiple recorders" should be unchecked unless you have more than one cd-rw drive and you are making more than one copy. I'm assuming you are only making 1. Also, the color of the disc shouldn't matter but as I stated earlier, burn at 8x even if you have a 52x drive and cd(like I do).

Good luck, hope it works.
