Hi. I started off the day by going to work, doing some work, and then decided to play some PS2. Anyway, I decided to play some Ape Escape 2 (Love the game
). After playing for a few hours (w/out the boss seeing), I tried to pop in one of my backups (I don't carry my originals around, except Ape Escape 2 I borrowed from my friend). I got the bloody red "Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 Disk". I tried all my other backups and to no avail, I got the same screen. I tried everything! Then I figured that I wouldn't be able to play my backup movies, so I popped one in (Agent Cody Banks). The damn thing worked! So I tried a backup game (Gundam Seed), and nothing except the red screen. I tried other backups which worked in the past, but none worked. Could someone please help me? I've got a:V7 Messiah 2 Pro installed by freedomlives Using Ritek DVD-R 4X and TDK and Phillips CDR All my backups worked before, but now none of them work! Could some please help me? I looked all over for a boot process or something, but couldn't find anything that helped. Please help me! Can't spend another day at work doing nothing but.....work!

yo
You guys might be right but i experienced the same problems. When i ordered my messiah 2 pro it came with a burnt cd containing information on the problem. It told me i have to hold the green button till it turned red. Than when it was red let it go and then hold it till sony entertainment systems appears on the screen. and BAM my games worked. Try it.

Yeah, I tried that and everything else I could think of. Anyway I sent it to freedomlives.com and Bill told me that he'll check on it no problem. He too thinks it might be a loose wire. So hopefully it is, so that I'd at least know what the problem is!
