Unhappy white dots

i have been backing up ps2 games for ages now without a hitch, however i tried to back up "wwe crush hour" and more recently "dancing stage megamix",

the iso burns lovely in nero, but when you load the disk i get a series of white dots at the bottom of the screen...

i have tried burning it in acohol 120 but still same result...

is this new protection? is this safedisk etc???

please help this has been a nightmare to solve!

thanks in advance
