How can I burn C&C Renegade?

I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to burn renegade, I burned the data disc but when I try to load the game all I get is an illegal operation. Can anyone tell me how to burn a working copy? Is there better burning software than Clone CD?

try alcohol 120%, and burning successfully is hardware dependant so make sure your burner can handle the protections the games have

It is having many read errors, do you know what this could mean?
It's not done yet but i doubt it'll work. If it doesn't I will try a no-cd crack. What is the current version of the Renegade cd cracks and where could i find it???

The read errors from sectors ~800-10,000 are normal for a Safedisk protected game. I suggest you read the sticky topic at the top of this forum - Vluka guide.

Yes gh0sth@ckers reply is very helpfull and i to suggest you read the stickie. I have UK version of Generals and only one disk was protected (dont remember which 1 now). I used clonnyxxl v2.006 and clone cd new version to make a working backup. I do remember when i used clony and clone to back up the unprotected disk it wouldnt work and continued to get stuck in the install process,so i used nero v5.5 to backup the unprotected disk and the game works perfectly now. (hope this helps but if your new to backing up then do what most of us here had to do and read the stickies, we all learn from others at some point and Vlukas guide is excellent to get you started).
