Bios Flashing Knucklehead

I know the info is out there but i'm just not finding any concrete info on how to flash an X2 lite via evox.
i know you put the new bios in a folder, but where do you put the folder? under the C drive? and then i assume that once it's in the folder you just go to the flash option, hit it and reset the xbox?

sorry for being a douche bag about this but i don't want to mess up my mod. i've worked so hard to get to where i am now with backing up games and the though of screwing that up makes me cringe.

thanks again

Yes, put the new BIOS on a folder called bios and put it on the C: drive of the XBox.

Boot your XBox, and go into the flash menu if EvoX. Select the new BIOS, let it do its thing, reboot and its all done.

Sorry but if you read the reply I gave you,

It said exactly what to do. I am a newbie as well and trying to help out these guys so they won't have to answer the same questions over and over not that they mind lol.

Anyways the first place I STRONGLY recommend which gave me so much help is xbox scene it is a great site that has tutorials on just about everything you would ever want to do to an XBox.

Now for your question rms2001 a great guy basicaly gave it to you but I will try and break it down a bit more.

1) First have the downloaded BIOS in a folder you can access on your PC.

2) Have your XBox hooked up to your PC via crossover cable or whichever method you use.

3) Start your FTP program I use FlashFXP then connect to your XBox

4) Have your BIOS folder ready to FTP

5) Have your C partition of your XBox open

6) Transfer folder

7) Reboot the XBox

8) Go to Flash Bios on Evolution X click on it

9) Now select the bios you just ftp'd

10) Your XBox should restart or shut itself off either or I can't remember

11) Your done

Nope, you will need to use the Ozxchip Method to get that POS Cornwall Linux BIOS off the X2.

ozhip method it is!!! One quick question though.....is the ozhip method easy to do? I picked up blank cd-rws just to do it and I'm really good with computer stuff and xbox stuff in general. I'm just trying yo prevent a bad flash. And as for the time I said I was gonna go x2 pro...well that changed when the people I was getting the chip with all wanted the x2 lite cuz they don't want to screw around with theri bios and they're cheap.
