primo DVD is a really really old, not up to date, version of RecordNow Max (if you were to take a picture of the old recordnow, and put it next to primodvd, they are EXACTLY the same, except for the name and color). I'd take rms2001's advice and get record now max.

i use primo useing data burn & iso methods and have never had a problem.
i have the updated version and the add-on for dvd burning that gives you that little px Helper window on the bottom. failing that i would advise you make sure you dvd writer is compatible with primo. if it's not i believe that you and download drivers on their website that will add your dvd-r to primo. failing that i'd say screw prassi and go with another program like the boyz mentioned above.

hmm, I didn't know they still made primo dvd updates. I'm pretty sure they are both owned by the same company.

i'd ditch primo it is practically obsolete and does not get updated any more. go for recordnow max 4.50 it is by far the best software out for burning xbox games.
