half burn then error message.

I have sony dru500ax/w 2.0c firmware,I use record now max 4.6 i follow the instructions using this program I get half burn and then error message,I'm also using ritek dvd's(this is the # on the dvd H5-16302288062A13) if anyone has any suggestions feel free thnx!!!

when u are burning do you have any other programs running as well ? as that might be a problem for failure in mid burn

when u press ctrl alt and delete how many programs are there running in the back ground ?

Is your burner set as master? If not, change it to master.

I had this problem with my A04 wen I first got it.

Firstly set the burner to secondary master and take any other devices off the secondary slave socket, leave it empty.

Ensure that u have auto insert notification switched off.

Ensure that U have checked automatic finalisation box in the drive properties.

Ensure U have downloaded and flashed the latest firmware ( This turned out to be my problem! ), particularly if you r using Ritek 4X dvd-r.
