dvd+r compatability

hi there
Does anybody know if the xbox works with dvd+r discs, if so which brand works well. I have a samsung drive and the dvd+rw works well but i can not get the infiniti brand dvd+r to work.
Any info would be greatley appreciated.

Ya the XBox will read DVD+R. Ummm you sure you made a good burn of the back up?

How are you trying to boot the game?
