Light coloured Riteks
Quick question: I ordered the light coloured Riteks a while back from Rima.com by accident. If I backup a movie, there's some definite pixelation here and there and then it freezes after about an hour. Doesn't matter which of my DVDs I try to back-up, its almost always at the 60 minute mark. Think its just the media? The good Riteks I used never had a problem. I'd realy appreciate the help!

The light purple Ritek are known to be garbage. Switch media and you should be fine.

yep, media
I had the same problem myself with some brands of media, find a brand that works for you and stick with it
