the no-cd fix for the game wont work i think it is the original exe
has anybody else had the same trouble.is there anywhere else i can find it thanx in advance.ps i've done loads of these before it's
the only time i've come across this.

I dont think its the original exe (hopefully its not anyway, I already managed to do that with Big Mutha Truckers

). The crack was taken from the MYTH rip of the game. Try copying any video and audio files that remain on the cd after install to your Downtown Run directory.

i still can't get it to work.the reason i think it could
be the original exe is the date last modified is the same

Well, I dont know then... I personally took that crack from the rip of the game and sent it to GCW myself. It worked properly with the rip... Its very doubtful that the exes are the same, as at the time I had no means of getting hold of an original exe, mixing it up with the MYTHS exe and then submitting that. All I can say is, are you sure you are copying the crack to the right directory, have you extracted it properly? I KNOW these sound stupid, but I find it very doubtful that the exes are the same.

it's very simple, why THIS released crack of GCW won't work. The copyprotection is NOT in the PLAY.EXE, but in the MAIN.PRO File. I search this crack too. But everywhere I looked till now, it's only the wrong one.

I got a CORRECT cracked version of MAIN.PRO File. If someone can tell me, who to sent this File to GCW, I will do that. Otherwise give me a PM with your email addy & I will send it to you
