empire earth, robot wars,help newbie

Hi,
can anyone help me make a working backup of empire earth and robot wars? I think they are protected by securom new, I have tried using clonecd,all seems to go well, coping, installing etc,then when I try to play the games one asks for the original cd the other says kernal has caused a some thing or other error. I have a plex writer 12/10/32, and I am using the plex to read and copy the games, also I use the plex to try and play the copies. I would be grateful for any help,

Hi,
with empire earth you must replace the .exe file after you have installed the backup copy of your cd.
I've it, if you tell me how you have backup the cd with clonecd, I'll sent it to you.
(I tryed to backup the game with clonecd but the result was a cd with a audio track.....!?!?).
