Does anyone know where i can get a software that can manage the blocks in my memory card?
I've searched through the this forum and found no signs of such utility, does it even exist? I want a utility that is burnable onto a cd and boots up to a moded psx so i can delete memory card save blocks. Any help would be much apreciated. DreagonR

All PlayStations have a built-in memory card manager. Just start your PlayStation with no CD and select Memory Card.

The Dex drive will save the files to a folder that can then be burned to a disk and accessed through the Dex Drive software but it all has to be done on your computer.

I have the answer you are looking for and you will not be disappointed!
Check the GCW link on the top of your browser to consoles / psx utilities and find yourself a little image called Xploder. This utility is much like Gameshark CDX with cheats, a memory manager and save compressor to backup saves, but you will need a dedicated memory card. It will want to format a card right away and create an “Xkey” to save backup gamesaves, cheats and settings. It is definitely worth it !! Also it starts off in PAL mode but you can switch to NTSC in the settings and it will be saved on the card. Awesome utility! |
