does nero affect recordnow max performance?

i have both in my computer, but when i use recordmax, it gives me a hard time backing up ps2. i have a pioneer a05, using ritec dvd-r's. i have the psx helper, autoshield on. so does having nero affect it in anyway?

It shouldn't affect it. I use Nero and RecordNow Max no problem. Are you using an outdated version of RecordNow Max?

I even get a stranger problem. When I install the newest version of Record now Max, it says that it is conflicting with Nero and that Nero needs to be uninstalled. Go figure?!?

The only problem i get with 'Max' is that the percentage bar stops @ 75% when i'm burning a full DVD. But the disc boots and plays fine. Don't know if anyone else has this proplem.
