I have not been able to get my hands on the rip of Xenosaga. The word is that the movies were made to have poorer graphics so that it could fit on one DVD. If you find where to get the rip I would greatly appreciate letting me know.

The movies have been downsampled but the quality of them is still very good. Can't tell you where to get the rip from as that would be against the forum rules.

How is this against the rules? It is not a pirated game. This is like asking where to get the rip kit just there is no kit, as far as I know. We can ask where to get kit, just not pirated ISO's and the like. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The complication comes in on this one, from what I know of it, that the download is of the entire rip. Rip kits are more openly discussed because they are just a kit and you need to have an original to do the rip from, so these are nice and safe. Since the rip in this case is the entire game it is borderline. Do you call it a rip, open to anyone who has the game, or a pirated ISO? This more than likely is also why it is hard, if not impossible, to find anymore.

Ok so if the rip is the whole game itself then it would be more like a pirated rip i'm guessing. So we can't trade/share whole games but rip kits are allowed?
It just seems a little hypocritical of people who already have the rip to no share it....since if it the whole game ripped and downloaded....then i am assuming that anyone who has the game ripped didn't rip it themselves. Whether they have an original copy or not....they got the rip from someone else....and everyone else got there's from this Kalisto group. Someone just hit my yahoo email....cuz i'm confused and my head is starting to spin ).

If what Headly says is true then yes, we wouldn't be able to tell where to get the game file because this would also be considered an illegal iso because anybody could use it. Normal rip kits just tell you how to alter the ripped files you made with your original game, so a rip kit would be of no good to you unless you owned the original game.
