i: getting the ip.bin from a cdi w/daemon tools and isobuster
Getting the ip.bin out of a cdi
one way is to mount the image with the daemon tools then start isobuster and choose the "stalth" drive right click on the second session and choose "extract from to" mark "end adress" and type in here the start lba + 15 (16 sectors) normally 11700 or 11702, but can be higher if there are audio tracks. although mark "user data" this is important! hit "start extraction" and rename the filename to ip.bin, if you want. remember, you can´t use "open image" in isobuster on a multisession cdi. maybe someone want continue with other metods. |

Or open your CDI image with my tool and click "extract".

the daemon tools are so usefull for so many cases.
i swear on it, maybe noone noticed this :-) so i never felt the need for a ip.bin ripping tool on cdi´s but your one click method seems to be interesting. got your ipextractor, run it and got an error. pfctoc.dll not found. so i´m tired and won´t search this dll or the reason of that error, tonight. maybe i solved this problem in the past, but i had to completely reinstall my windows. (mbr+fat loss, save your bootblocks, you save so much trouble!) ok, can´t sleep until this is solved. pfctoc seems to be a part of the daemon tools, although used by pal patcher and alcohol 120% copied it to the windows directory ... ip extractor works. one click, got an ip.bin! great work, megalexxx |

Thanx.
PFCToc.DLL is "Padus Fundation Classes Toc". It's DiscJuggler's DLL. |
