connect 3.45v for NTSC question.
SCPH-30001, NTSC ....installing Messiah2 Pro
Now looking at the install pics of the PS2. It LOOKS like im supposed to connect the 3.45v to this point for my system. Is this true?...am i supposed to run a powered bypass on the motherboard? It does not connect to the chip, so is it an option to play other zone games? Or is it needed to make the chip even work. I just have misgivings about sodering a power point across a board. |

Yes, you would connect the ntsc point to the 3.45v point. No, it is not needed to make the chip work. All this will do is cause pal games to be output in ntsc format so they display poperly on the TV.
