I'm pissed and mad, can anyone help
I have had my V7 Ps2 with my messiah 2 chip in my machine since late Jan. Brand new PS2 installed by Bill and chip from Charlie_ps2.
Now when i put a back up copy in my ps2 it will load up as disk read error on all my games. My machine was working find till today playing all backups etc. I need Help can anyone tell me whats up

I suggest that something has come adrift. it needs opening up and looking at including ribbon cables.

Ok i can play backups of Ps2 games on cd but they will not work on games that are on dvd
it still say disk read error

you see my name its most likely your problem
cd cleaner with little brushes on it should do the trick or it could possibly be a wire but try cdcleaner first normally cures it

I tried the dvd/cd cleaner w/ the little brushes
I it still didnt play backups but i contact bill i will ship it back to him to see if its wiring

That's right. If you got a pro to do the install (possibly Bill gives a warranty on his work), then he shoud be consulted.
