hi! (sorry for my english but i am german, i will try to do my best!)
my question is: i know how to do an image file with clonecd, but when i tried to do one with a few games for example with the game harry potter 2 i waited for two hours and it went only to 3% or so. so i cancelled it. when i tried it with the game the lord of the rings it worked perfectly; after 10 minutes the image file was done. can somebody help if i try it next time and it happens the same as with harry potter 2? thanks for help!!!!

CloneCD
Do you have the latest version of CloneCD. I think the latest version = 4.2.0.2

Do you have a DVD drive on your pc?
If this is the case try using the DVD drive to make an image. This helps sometimes. Sometimes when I have problems making an image with my CD-RW drive, I use the DVD drive to make the image.

Check out VLuka's faq. There's a bit about "Fast Error Dump', it's a trick with Daemon Tools that allows you to rapidly read those first damaged sectors that each safedisc 2 game has.

Maybe you are right about what you said. For the first 4% taking 2 hours.
Try using your CD-RW drive for making the image. I tried this a few times, and it helped.....
