Does anyone have a problem loading ps2 games that are cd's not dvds, ie. madden 2002 or contra? i can't get them to load properly with my ps2...wondering what's going on? ps2 dvd games work perfectly though, everytime...

This problem can usualy be fixed by using a laser cleaning disc.

Dry. If it's a new laser it could be a possibility that it was a bad install as well.

I used to get this all of the time with some of CD originals...If the game was scratched at all...sometimes it would sound like it was skipping inside and all kinds of weird sounds....I cleaned the laser with a cleaner and all was well....
