Need help !!
Hi all,
I really need help with this: I modified my PS2 console last year using the no solder/plug in chip.... untill last week it has been working fine but yesterday it has begun to make weird noises and to have problems reading the CD's, both originals and backups of my originals. It also happened that while I was playing, the all game got stuck as if the laser had stopped reading all of a sudden.... I tryied cleaning the lens/laser and it has only minimally helped with the above problems... after I cleaned the lens, the console has had slightly less problems in recognizing the disks when I put them in !!! Please help me, I don' t know what the problem may be and what to do !!!  ThanXX

If using a laser cleaner seemed to help, keep doing it. It can't hurt.
