Is Arc the Lad protected?

My backup won't load past the Working designs logo. Is Arc 1 protected or did I make an error in copying it? If it is protected can you direct me to a patch or gameshark code to get around it.

FYI, im using a Game Enhancer to run it.

I have backed-up Arc the lad 1, 2, and 3 and they all played fine.I used clone cd to back them up.What software did you use to burn?I have a very old psx that does not always boot back-ups, but my newer one and ps2 will, so maybe your system is the problem, try running a lazer cleaner on it.

Sorry i should have said that on my psx I use one of those swap cd's also have a plug mod, the games work with either one.On my old psx I had same prob. as you, found on newer one (not a psone) and all my back-ups work better, I think it was because the lazer was old and to worn out for cd-r, if you clean your lazer and still have prob., you might need a newer system.Better yet a chipped ps2.
