I'm really new at this burning thing.....
Hi everybody. I owned The Sims when i lived with my mother about 3 years ago. In the process of moving out, I lost the disk that the game ran with. I proceeded to buy myself a computer and upon realizing that i couldn't play my sims game anymore, I purchased The Sims Deluxe Edition. Played it once. House was vandalized. Sims game is gone. Insurance replaced my computer, but not the sims. Bought the deluxe edition once again. I'm currently trying to burn it so I can store a backup somewhere else (like hidden in my closet or something) but it won't let me burn. My burning program is RecordNow, and I have the best burner that I could get with a compaq Presario 6350 (although i don't know what this is....all it says is 40x10x40 max CD-RW drive). I managed to finally get it to burn something, but all it brings up is the menu and then tells me to insert the correct disk.......SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP. I'm not too smart at figuring this kind of thing out on my own and I don't wanna have to keep paying 50 bucks for new copies of the sims. thanks to anyone that can help me.
