Since you have a dvd burner why don't you just burn the originals you are supposed to have instead of downloading them?

most likely no.

if you've downloaded 20 games and they dont fill up your harddrive, they are CD games, and you must burn them with cdrwin or another burning program as such.

be sure to use mode2/2353/cd-xa when burning.

Hey man read the forum rules before posting. The moderators don't like that. No talking about downloading games. This forum assumes that you have an original game and that you are making a back-up of it. Just thought I'd clue you in.

Since you have the discs, it will say on the outside of the box and sometimes the disc whether or not the game is CD based or DVD based. Look for either the compact disc logo or the DVD rom logo. Also if the bottom of the disc is blue it is cd-rom if it is silver then it is dvd. The ps2 will read cd-rs great as long as you have a mod in it. But you should burn on high quality media. ThAD0oD, my white label princos are great haven't burned a coaster yet. Sorry you've had bad results with this brand.

its not that i have had problems with Princos, its that they are cheap media.

the dye used is very bad quality grade... if your ps2 boots them then your laser is in good shape.

but when your laser starts to wear down, you'll notice the difference between loading times, here and there it wont be recognized as a ps2 disc etc.....

stick to high quality media for best results.
