RecordNow MAX Error help
Ok, still havnt fig. out why my burner is not doing what I tell it to do. I have been trying to burn these games with no luck.
Looking at a post by DUDE I decide to try to burn the games like he does. I get even thing ready and ready to go, it starts its thing, then comes back with an error: Error -10 at Sector 0 - Command:5D Sense:05 ASC:30 ASCQ:02 Looking in the help menu, I found out that the above error means. "Cannot Read Medium - Incompatible Format" I'm not trying to read, I'm trying to write. Or is it referring to its trying to read whats on the disk before it writes? Could this just be my disks I'm trying to use? I really dont think its my burner, b/c it writes CDs just fine. Any help would be nice. Thanks Oh, and I'm also getting the same error with PrimoDVD. |

I am recently having the same problem, the only difference being that I was able to do it the day prior. I am using the exact same media as yesterday and when i try to burn two copies of an image at the same time one fails and the other is fine. The day earlier I was constantly doing two at a time and they were both working. I've uninstalled my IDE's to make sure they reset themselves in doa-mode and still have the problem does anyone have a suggestion?
P.S.-If I do a single burn of an image using the same drive that fails when i do two, it writes with no errors. :S P4 1.4mhz pioneer dvr109 with upgraded firmware to 1.58 ridata dvd-r8x Last edited by CraZyHeaD; 19-01-2006 at 15:17. |

Well, you could try making the image "read only" if it isn't already. And if you manually pop the tray to switch disks, I would suggest letting the software do it for you when the burn is over.
