DVD / CDrom Games List
Does anyone know where I will find a decent list saying what titles are DVD and which are CDrom??
Also, will a DVD/CD-RW combo drive burn DVD's???, as my missus' dad has one and if so it will save me forking out for one of my own!! (call me tight) Go well

There have been plenty of things on this in the past. Just search for Game List or something to that effect. A DVD/CD-RW drive will be able to RIP DVD games but you WILL NOT be able to burn the discs 1:1 like you can in a DVD-RW, however, DVD Ripping is in it's age and as many people have DVD-RW's now rip kits are no longer being produced. Rip kits take out cutscenes so most of the story in the game is missing which can ruin it or games are split to 2 or 3 CD's which can be a pain with having to swap them over. So, I would just buy a DVD-RW then you get to keep the whole game and it's a simple job - Just put in a DVD and Copy, very much unlike DVD Ripping which is hard as hell to do unless you get a one button rip kit but you still have the ripping problems described above. My advice - buy a DVD-RW. Hope this helps you...
