Spyro3 - PAL

Hi, has anybody successfully patched Spyro3 - PAL version?
I've tried both the PDX - PAL version, and the BAD - PAL version, they boot up ok with the new loader, can select PAL format, game intro starts (with both patches), gets to where the purple rhino type guy is jumping over the sign (Insomniac sign), sound still plays, but screen just locks up with the Insomniac logo on the screen.
This happens with both of the above patches, on Playstation, and on ePSXe emulator on PC.

Is that no patches on any games, or just on Spyro3?

Are you trying to get pass the MOD Detection?

I don't know if this works on the PAL version but for NTSC all you
need to do is open the CD Lid at the insomniac sign, press start,
select your game, close lid and play.
