Fixing PS2 Question
I recently tried to install a no solder chip into my v4 ps2 and im not getting any power to the reset button at all. I checked to amke sure all the connections were tight and tried it numerous times. I eventually decided to just take the chip to check that i didn't mess anything up. The problem that i have no is that there is no power going to my reset/eject button. When i turn the switch on, I can hear the electricity in the system going on but the light, fan, and etc still dont work. Could it possibly be because of a broken ribbon or something else?

Yes. It sounds like your reset/eject ribbon cable is damaged. Strip your ps2 down and put it back together very slowly and carefully and if still no joy then order new ribbon cable. I think they cost about £10
