It's probably a useful post for newbies and swappers but as for it being a sticky... is that because the search on these forums doesn't permit three character entries? (This restriction makes it very difficult to find the answers on things like Pro, DMS, Ace, Key, PnP, TOC etc. )

Well Ill change the name to Table of Contents (TOC) that way newbies can find it. Anyways the only people that really need this thread are people with outdated modchips which will soon be obsolete with newer versions of PS2's. I think Ill post a debate for it in the Moderators section of the forums to see if this thread should remain a sticky.

The way you understand it is correct BG. I talked to EMPiRE about this issue personally. This is what he has to say about this:

"The rule is mainly not to sell modchips directly from certain fileforum members, telling that users can go to a certain site (from non fileforum members) to get a certain modchip is no problem for me.

This way it is clear that FileForums is not directly making money selling modchips"
