hi everyone,
is there anyway possible to play backup games without needing to go and buy a mod chip for it?
Any help will be greatful

Sure, if you want to trash your PS2. Do a search on "knife" and you will find your answer. It's a lot cheaper just to buy a chip than it is to buy a new PS2.
