All you need is good hardware and the BindwriteSuite v. 4.2.6.38 that's the newest one !

Goto your Blinbwrite Folder and start BWA Builder ! Select the slowest extracting method without Graph ! Name the BWA File your've Created as the Image you'll drop now. Drop the Image by reading Subcode enabled and alt. readingmethod disabled. For best results use the slowest extacting methode ! Save the image with same basename as the created BWA file. After you've done that start Blindwrite V.4.2.6.38
and burn it in RAW PW mode and not faster than 4 x !

Play the f....ckin' Game !
It's toasted 1:1 origal !

this method is the best way i think because you don't have to drop a image with Clone CD and patch it with twinpeaks v0.2 ! This way works without any patching !!!

If your not be able to drop a good or working BWA file
just search my ( Gothic2 CD3 by MADMAN.bwa ) file by using the edonkey ! Else you can send me a mail so i can send the file back !

I tried every method with every software to make a 1:1 copy of gothic 2.......failed everytime.CD'S,images.....you name it!

I am not a newbie.....ut2000 was no problem.Why no success....just one of those things I guess.

The reason could be, that your drive isn't able to make correct BWA-files.
I have tryed irt with Aquanox2 and it wont work, but when i use the bwa files downloaded from www.copybase.de.vu it works perfect.

Try downloading the needed bwa from there.

I thing the problem isn't the copy. Its more the protection. Read the forum of Aquanox 2. They Admin says that the protection looks also for progs, e.g. CloneCD, daemon,...,. So you must have a "clean" system. I've tried it with my XP and 98. Under XP no way because of the burning progs. But my clean 98 does it.

I made the "BWA and twinpeaks methode" and use win98se.
Everythings works just fine !!
By the way, i downloaded the bwa file from copybase.
(because my old hardware isnt able to make a good one)

for those of you who STILL can't run backups of gothic 2 v1.32, here's how I just did it.

I used BlindWrite 5.1.10.136. Copied it to the hd, and then burned it. All 3 discs. It installs and plays off of them. No messing around with the bwa stuff or anything.

i don't know what kinds of burners work really well, but i've used a yamaha lightspeed 3 and i've used clonecd and alcohol 120% for most of my games. just purchased bw yesterday.



it's pretty sweet. now all the games i play are safely backed up so my damn wiener kids can't scratch the original cds.

if u copy the cd to the hdd and then to a new cd ud need a nocd crack to play...

So these are the only ways to play the game without the orignal cd ? The only reason I want a fix is so I don't have to put in a CD every time I play the game. What keeps someone from making a nocd fix just like they did for the previous versions ?

so who the phuck cares? I've got a perfectly working v.1.30 cracked exe, COMPLETELY german (the one on gamecopyworld is partly polish, cause it's a cracked exe from the polish version, which had safedisc protection, so some dialogs are in polish), but I found one on edonkey that was ALL german. well, I guess you need an english one, unless you are german yourselves. but the point is (or rather two points are), first, there is hardly any difference between 1.30 and 1.32, I played the WHOLE game through using the 1.30 version of the cracked exe and can testify that it works beautifully. unfortunately I don't have the edonkey link any longer, but you can find it yourself, I did.

second point is that if you've got the game add-on, you don't need the original exe anyway, but have to use the cracked exe for the addon, of which the newest version is on gamecopyworld, as far as I know, unless the developers released a new update for the addon pack in the last couple of months
