Dancing Stage Party Edition

Having purchased this game along with dance mats for the young'un's xmas , I was annoyed to find that with a psx or ps1 chipped or otherwise that only the first 3 levels can be used.
Apparently it works fine with a ps2, Konami are aware of the problem and are supposed to be working on it,but does any of you peeps know whether it will be available in time for xmas??
I have e-mailed Konami but am not holding my breath for the reply.

My retailer has offered to exchange the faulty disc as late as 31 January. If the new version is not out by then, I will exchange it for the original Euromix edition.

You might also want to consider the Jungle Book dance mat game as an alternative, but remember the main game mode in Part Edition works fine on PSOne. Start on the slower tempo songs and keep to the "basic" option (as opposed to "trick" or "maniac") and Christmas should go well.
