Is it possible to detect copy "status" or original disc?

I need a question answered: is there any software available that will alow me to put an original disc through it and have it tell me if that disc was copied? Even if that disc is not s cd-rom, but a silver manufactured cd? If you have any technical articles to refer to, please include those.
